About Coders International Tokyo
Coders International Tokyo is the first English speaking CoderDojo in Japan. Known as
Akasaka Kokusai (赤坂国際) within the national community, we are a maker space dedicated to providing a creative environment where kids can unleash their imagination and bring their ideas to life through coding and robotics. We strive to give all children the chance to learn the fundamentals of programming and engineering so they, too, can take a step into the world of technology.
What is CoderDojo?
CoderDojo, also known as Code Club, is a global, volunteer-led movement of free, not-for-profit coding clubs (Dojos) for young people aged 7 to 17. The movement places a strong emphasis on openness and on showing how coding can be a force for positive change in the world.
